Cat mom, piggies & pet sympathy 🐶🌈

I hope you enjoyed the new collection sneak preview last week!

(If you missed it, you can check it out here.)

I’ve been putting in many hours to make this collection really awesome and am super excited to share a few more designs with you 🤩

This.

We’re cat-less at the moment but I think this is what our cats would send me if they were still around… I’m a sucker for cute cuddly creatures. Even if they require you to scoop their poop every day 😀

(and why do they always have to 💩 right after you clean the litter box???)

(I believe this is the first time I used a☝️poop emoji in my newsletter 😹)

I already have dog dad and cat dad cards in my shop, so I’m excited to add a cat mom card this year!

(dog mom, please be patient… next year.)

Meet the Little Piggies! 🐷

This design was born out of a doodle I made in my iPad on the couch one night.

I was just doodling to relax and unwind – I had no intention of making a product. BUT I kept looking at it and couldn’t stop smiling 😀

You create awesome stuff when you’re relaxed and just playing, no?

Little Piggies will also be available as archival giclee print.

And a wrapping paper.

You can get it in my Spoonflower fabric shop a little later, too. Oink!

Oh man, and this beauty has a special place in my heart 💙

I’ve been meaning to create a pet sympathy card for a couple of years.

If you’ve ever lost a pet, you know it hurts so bad.

Animals you connect with – your relationship can be so healing and nurturing. They just look at you like you’re the coolest thing even if you’re feeling crappy about yourself.

I was going to incorporate a pet sympathy message in the design at first, but I came to love the design without it. This way, you can send the card as a pet sympathy or simply enjoy the art.

I named it All Things are Connected.

It’s a belief that keeps me humble and grateful to be part of the earth. I know my time here is just a tiny microscopic blip in the long history of the planet, and it puts me into perspective.

The apple trees in the art represent the orchard in eastern Washington where the ashes of our departed kitties lie. I smile and cry to imagine them snoozing under an apple tree and being friends with all the other pets that have left us.

It’ll be coming to the shop as a print, too.

My new collection will launch late January/early February 🌈 and I’ll be sharing more previews to get you excited in the coming weeks.

Talk soon,

xo

Congratulate your grads with style and heart 🎓❤️

Hi there friend,

Is it just me or does the time go by waaaaay faster as you get older??

With a wholesale event coming up in July, I’ve been working hard on my fall/winter collection.

Having a deadline really helps me focus and be more productive.

And, prioritizing art making has been good for my soul, too

Sigh.

I’ll share some sneak previews in the coming weeks! I think you’re gonna like what’s coming for ya 😉

But let’s get back to what’s important right this minute…

May is almost over, and that means graduation season is upon us.

Do you have special people in your life who are graduating this year? Do you need cards and gifts to celebrate their accomplishments?

I’ve hand picked some graduation gift options for you that will make your grads feel proud and be ready to tackle their next adventures 💪

First up, don’t forget to send them a congratulations card!

{ 1. Sail On, Happy Graduation card | 2. Cats High Five card | 3. Pink Poppies Congrats card }

These art prints will send an encouraging message to your special grad, too (not to mention an awesome wall decor!)

{ 1. Sail On giclee art print (8″x10″) | 2. You Are Exactly Where You Are Supposed to Be giclee art print (8″x10″) }

Life changes are exciting but can be scary, too.

Let them know they’re good enough even if they may be feeling anxious or unsure about their next steps.

{ You Are Enough vinyl sticker }

And, who wouldn’t love a good list??

Help them get organized as they adjust to a new phase in their life.

{ 1.Eat a Rainbow Market List | 2. Succulents To-Do List | 3. Rooster Friends Notepad }

Last but not least, if your grads are moving away from either Seattle, Spokane, or Tacoma, gift them the city art print so they can take a piece of their home wherever they go.

{ 1.I ❤ Seattle giclee art print | 2. Vintage Seattle Chicken Garden giclee art print | 3. Hello Spokane giclee art print | 4. Tacoma giclee art print }

I hope you’ll find the perfect gift for your special graduates!

New art prints for spring 🌸

Some people argue that Seattle doesn’t have distinct four seasons, but I beg to differ!

Even though it’s still chilly out, the days are growing longer, and I can feel the spring is near! I can almost smell the cherry blossoms in the air 🌸

Just like changing your wardrobe, I like to update my gallery wall for the new season.

That’s why I wanted to remind you of my colorful new art prints that are perfect for welcoming in the spring in your home!

1) Self-care is not Selfish (8″x10″) 2) Welcome to the World, Little One (11″x14″) 3) Sail On (8″x10″) 4) Moonlit Mountains (8″x10″)

I can see these prints in your kids’ room, office, or bedroom. Really, any place you wanna add a little color and cheer would do 😉

They’re archival prints on a very nice fine art paper. Look at the velvety texture. Swoon!!

My customers often ask me if these are my originals. Well, not quite 😀 But I agree they look so good it’s hard to believe they’re not original.

You can browse all of my new prints in my shop here.

Enjoy!
