Fall & winter collection sneak preview 👀

I’ve been working very hard on my fall & winter collection, which debuts at Urban Craft Uprising Summer Wholesale Event on July 2.

(The event is open only to the retail shop owners and buyers, FYI).

And I thought you may enjoy a sneak preview today!

My customers and fans have told me over and over they love my sense of color 🎨

Well, that’s a good thing because bright colors make me happy, and I love playing with colors!

So in my new collection, I’ve incorporated a bunch of fun color palettes for you to enjoy.

Also, lots of animals in my new collection! (and animals on wheels nonetheless 🚲)

I didn’t plan it that way at first, but hey, who wouldn’t like adorable animals??

I’m just so grateful that I get to make art I love and help you connect with your loved ones through my art ❤

Sweet giveaway is happening at Geeky Girls Knit!

Hi friend!

Let me introduce you to C.C . and Dami, the sweetest mother-daughter co-hosts of the knitting podcast, Geeky Girls Knit!

I met C.C. a couple of months ago when Tara Swiger (she does an awesome podcast for small business owners) was visiting Seattle.

We met for coffee and donuts (oh that raspberry donut from Mighty-O Donuts, tho! 🤤) and chatted about our businesses and self-care.

C.C. has this warm, super friendly energy to her and was very generous with sharing her own experiences with business.

I liked her immediately (it’s pretty instantaneous when I like someone 😀), and we’ve been friends online since then.

(BTW, I’m also obsessed with their new kitty, Pink Purl (I know), who makes a regular appearance on their Instagram feed.)

I’ve never met her daughter, Dami, in person yet, but she also is a generous, kind person from what I can tell 💕

So I was thrilled when C.C. asked me if they could do a product review for me and host a giveaway on their show!

New art prints for spring 🌸

Some people argue that Seattle doesn’t have distinct four seasons, but I beg to differ!

Even though it’s still chilly out, the days are growing longer, and I can feel the spring is near!​ I can almost smell the cherry blossoms in the air 🌸​

Just like changing your wardrobe, I like to update my gallery wall for the new season.

That’s why I wanted to remind you of my colorful new art prints that are perfect for welcoming in the spring in your home!

Spring & Summer Collection is here! 💐

I turned 40 on Wednesday!! 🎈🎉🎊

I finished the Seattle Gift Show on Tuesday (which is a 4-day long gift trade show, very slow, long 4 days), so instead of having a big birthday bash, I had dinner with some of my friends at my favorite Japanese restaurant, Nishino. A perfectly delicious and low-key celebration.

I enjoy getting older – I’ve grown to care less and less about what people think (or learn that people aren’t actually thinking about you 😀) as I get older. So freeing ✨

As if you need another reason to celebrate, my spring & summer 2018 collection is now available in my shop!

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

I don’t do anything extravagant but write Dave a little note to tell him how much I appreciate and love him ❤️

I’m in a more celebratory mood around this time of the year anyway because there is New Year’s holiday, and then Dave and my first date anniversary (11 years!), and my birthday (I’m turning 40 next week!!), and then Valentine’s Day tops it all off.

I know it’s a bit early for Valentine’s Day, but I’m so excited to share my new Valentine’s Day card and notepad with you!

Spring & summer collection preview!

As soon as I finished the last holiday craft show in December, I started working really hard to prepare for the Seattle Gift Show, which is a semi-annual gift trade show.

The show is this coming weekend (EEEEK! 😱), and my goal is to release my spring and summer collection there.

Here are some of the new designs I’ve been creating that are going to be part of the new line!

I’m working on a few more designs as we speak – birthday, congratulations, and Easter, for example.

And, new notepads and wrapping papers are in the works, too! Woo hoo!

I’ll keep you posted on the progress and let you know when they’re available in my shop 😘

​I love these simple coordinating designs ❤ They’re so clean and versatile but have the warm handmade feeling to it.

I’m thinking about making myself a tote bag with the red Triangle Forest fabric on the outside and black/white Cross Stitch fabric on the inside. You can purchase them in fat quarters, too, which are perfect for making tea towels!

Oh, and I just recently found out they have a sweet Fill-a-Yard deal where you can buy multiple designs that fit a yard of fabric so you can buy just what you need for the project you’re working on! It’s BRILLIANT.

{I played with their 1-yard cheater quilt template. I’ve never quilted before, but this cheater design may just work!}

And don’t forget, all of my designs are also available as gift wrapping paper and wall paper.

I’m back from Japan!

Even though I hate saying good bye to my family and friends 😦 it’s nice to get back to my life and normal routines here in Seattle.

(I’ll share some of our favorite moments from our trip next week, so stay tuned for that ;))

The winter holiday season is fast approaching, and I’ve created several new holiday greeting cards for you!

I’m excited to present to you a new Hanukkah card this year! At one of the shows, someone told me this was the most beautiful Hanukkah card she’d ever seen. Aw ❤
